Travel Information

The arrival date in Braşov is June 20, 2007. The organising committee will assist the participants for transfering from Bucharest to Braşov by train or bus (about 3 hours).

There are several hotels in Braşov within walking distance from the conference place. We mention the following categories:

Hotel *****: single room: 75 EUR, double room: 90 EUR (breakfast included);

Hotel ****: single room: 50 EUR, double room: 70 EUR (breakfast included);

Hotel ***: single room: 35 EUR, double room: 50 EUR (breakfast included);

Hotel **: single room: 32 EUR, double room: 45 EUR (breakfast included).

Additionally, some student rooms (3 beds) will be available in Braşov at the price of approximately 7 EUR/person (without breakfast).

Please inform us your options and we will make the reservations on your behalf.

Excursion:

An excursion is planned on Sunday June 24, 2007. It includes Peleş Royal Castle (Sinaia) and Bran Castle (traditionally associated with Vlad Ţepeş / Dracula).

The papers presented at the conference RIGA will be published in the Proceedings at the Publishing House of the Romanian Academy.
