Lecture Schedule.

Exams:

  1. Exam 1 covering Chapter 1 and 2 date: Sept. 16
  2. Exam 2 covering Chapters 3, 4 and 5 date: Oct .12
  3. Exam 3 covering Chapter 6, 7 and 8 date: Nov. 9
  4. Exam 4 covering Chapter 9 and 11 date: Dec. 7
  5. Final Exam date: Tuesday, Dec. 15 from 2:30-4:30 pm

Final Exam: A Common Final will be given for all Math 250B sections. It will be comprehensive and cover Chapters 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,11 and it is scheduled for Dec. 15 from 2:30 to 4:20. The location will be announced by the Math. Dept.

Prerequisites: A large portion of material from Math 150A, 150B, 250A will be used throughout this course. Please review this perquisite material as it is necessary.

Late Work: No make-up exams are given. However, special considerations will be given if you have a verifiable emergency.

Reading: You are to read ahead in the textbook each day and be familiar with the new vocabulary and new material before the lecture is given.

  2. Chapters 3, 4 and 5
  3. Chapters 6, 7 and 8
  4. Chapters 9 and 11

Honesty: All work presented for evaluation for a grade must be your own.

Attendance: For consideration of your classmates and instructor, it is important that you arrive to class on time!

Tutors: The Mathematics Department runs a tutoring center in MH-187.

Homework: Homework is to be done daily. Be prepared to discuss homework at the start of each class. Hand in each chapter on examination dates for evaluation.
