Materials: Course materials are on reserve at the library and available on my world wide web site.
Hour Exams:
Prerequisites: A large portion of material from Math 250A will be used throughout this course. Please refer to your Math 250A text to fill in ideas regarding this perquisite material as it is necessary.
Late Work: No make-up exams are given. No early exams are given. Special considerations will be given if you have a verifiable emergency.
Reading: You are to read ahead in the textbook each day and be familiar with the new vocabulary and new material before the lecture is given.
Articles: Articles I have written about differential equations.
Honesty: All work presented for evaluation for a grade must be your own.
Attendance: For consideration of your classmates and instructor, it is important that you arrive to class on time!
Homework: Homework is to be done daily. Hand in homework assignments the next day after they are assigned.
Computer Projects: We will be using a textbook that has a computer lab book and you will be expected to use the computer software Mathematica or Maple for your projects. Do ten of the projects.
