Solution 8.

See text and/or instructor's solution manual.

Solution.  The function  [Graphics:../Images/HarmonicFunctionModHome_gr_698.gif]  must be an analytic function.

Hence  [Graphics:../Images/HarmonicFunctionModHome_gr_699.gif][Graphics:../Images/HarmonicFunctionModHome_gr_700.gif]  is an analytic function.

By Theorem 3.8  both  [Graphics:../Images/HarmonicFunctionModHome_gr_701.gif] are harmonic functions and  [Graphics:../Images/HarmonicFunctionModHome_gr_702.gif] is the harmonic conjugate of   [Graphics:../Images/HarmonicFunctionModHome_gr_703.gif].
