Mathematical Biology, Dynamical Systems and Control Theory
Dr. Bichara obtained his Ph.D. in Mathematics at the Université de Lorraine in France in 2013 and, before joining CSUF, he was a postdoctoral research associate at Arizona State University. Dr Bichara’s research interests lie at the crossroads of dynamical systems, epidemiology, immunology and control theory. His work focuses on the design and analysis of models for gaining insight into the transmission and control of emerging and re-emerging diseases. Dr. Bichara’s recent topic of predilection is understanding how human behavior alters, promotes or mitigates disease dynamics.
