Dr. Druken has broad experience working with students and with teachers. She has taught finite mathematics and courses for elementary teachers at the college level, tutored at a high school, assisted in an elementary-school classroom, and developed math clips for a book for preservice Elementary Teachers (Sowder et al). Her research interests include teacher content knowledge and an examination of factors that support and constrain practicing mathematics teachers to continue to engage in doing Lesson Study. She has been involved in several California Department of Education Mathematics & Science Partnership (CaMSP) and NSF projects.
