Palm Springs Conference: November 2-3, 2007

Thanks to Steven’s wife, Evy, for taking some many nice pictures of our presentations at the California Math Council’s annual meeting in Palm Springs. It’s a nice little getaway and reprieve from the usual grind. I always have a nice time coming to talk to high school teachers about the value and importance of the American Mathematics Competitions (AMC)!

Here I’m over-viewing the AMC program. I’m planning to write a book about one of the exams in this competition series during my 2008-2009 sabbatical from CSUF.

We had a nice, big audience for our talk, as usual. The talks seemed to go quite well, and people were vigorously involved in the talk.
